Recently, Anhui Yuteshuang Energy Conservation Technology Co., Ltd. (YTS) successfully completed the free major overhaul of the steam turbine unit for the 8MW high backpressure Energy Management Contract (EMC) project at Xiaoyi Aluminum.

This project was fully invested and implemented by YTS under the EMC framework, with a five-year contract term. The unit model is B8-8.83/6.5//535. The energy-saving and efficiency-improvement rate verified at project acceptance reached 40.87%, far exceeding the contractual target of 30%. The energy-saving electricity reached 3,552 kWh/h. Assuming 8,000 operating hours per year and an electricity price of RMB 0.5/kWh, the annual energy-saving economic benefit is no less than RMB 14.2 million. The project has delivered remarkable energy-saving and social benefits.

After the project revenue-sharing period ended and the contract was terminated, YTS transferred the project ownership to the user free of charge in accordance with the contract, enabling the user to enjoy the project’s energy-saving benefits on a long-term basis. Meanwhile, YTS was responsible for providing one free major overhaul of the unit and for supplying and replacing all wearing parts required for the overhaul, including steam seals and bolts. After the unit successfully completed the free major overhaul, it was started up and connected to the grid for power generation on the first attempt. All technical indicators were excellent, and the work was highly praised by the owner.
