Xie Yuansheng, member of the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The industrial and information technology authorities of Hebei Province, Jiangsu Province, Fujian Province, Shandong Province, Chongqing City and the heads of the Sinopec Federation made exchange speeches.

The meeting pointed out that comprehensively promoting green and low-carbon development in the industry is an inherent requirement for implementing the strategic requirements of the new development concept and achieving high-quality development, and it is also an inherent requirement of new industrialization. The CPC Central Committee and the State Council have made systematic arrangements for comprehensively promoting green industrial development and require steady promotion of industrial fields.Carbon emission reduction, build a green manufacturing and service system, promote efficient resource utilization, and accelerateGreen energySystem construction. The entire system should further improve its political stance, thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on new industrialization, firmly establish and practice the concept that green waters and green mountains are gold and silver mountains, take the urgency and responsibility of "always be at ease", be brave to take responsibility, and take all-round transformation, full-process transformation, full-chain transformation, and full-field improvement as the goal, and comprehensively promote the green development of industry.

The meeting emphasized that it is necessary to steadily promote carbon emission reduction in the industrial field, coordinate the carbon peak in industry and key industries such as steel, building materials, petrochemicals, and non-ferrous metals, vigorously develop green and low-carbon industries, promote green upgrading of traditional industries, and accelerate the promotion of synergistic efficiency improvement in pollution reduction and carbon reduction. Accelerate the construction of a green manufacturing and service system, implement green manufacturing projects in depth, strengthen the construction of a green and low-carbon standard system, and actively create green consumption scenarios. Accelerate the promotion of industrial energy conservation and efficiency improvement, build a clean, efficient and low-carbon industrial energy consumption structure, deepen the improvement of energy efficiency in key industries and fields, and improve the industrial energy conservation management system. Comprehensively promote resource conservation and efficient utilization, accelerate the construction of a resource recycling system, and strive to improve the level of industrial solid waste reduction and resource utilization. Promote the standardized development of the comprehensive utilization of renewable resources industry, improve the comprehensive utilization system of emerging solid waste, and actively develop remanufacturing of mechanical and electrical products. Strengthen external publicity, carry out training and exchanges in areas such as green manufacturing, and continue to deepen international cooperation in the field of green and low-carbon.
