At present, coal-fired power is still the main power supply in my country. With less than 50% of the installed capacity, it produces about 60% of the country's electricity, meeting the peak load demand of more than 70%. According to statistics from the China Electric Power Enterprise Federation, as of the end of June, the coal inventory of coal-fired power plants of the power generation group included in the fuel statistics of the power industry was 96.01 million tons, an increase of 42.6% year-on-year, and the available days for coal inventory of electricity were 22.4 days. While coal-fired power supports the peak of electricity consumption, clean energy such as hydropower, wind power, and photovoltaics are also "showing their skills". The assembly capacity of the Baihetan Hydropower Station has reached 10 million kilowatts, my country's first single million kilowatt-level onshore wind power base has been officially put into production, and the first tidal-light complementary photovoltaic power station has been connected to the grid for full capacity to generate power... Since this year, many clean energy power generation projects have been completed and put into production.

As of the end of June, the national installed capacity of full-caliber power generation was 2.44 billion kilowatts, of which the installed capacity of non-fossil energy power generation was 1.18 billion kilowatts, accounting for 48.2% of the total installed capacity, an increase of 2.8 percentage points year-on-year, and the effect of green and low-carbon transformation continued to appear. Cross-provincial power transmission helps mutual assistance between surplus and shortage. Demand response realizes peak cutting and valley filling. In addition to the supply side, through demand side response, and using market-oriented methods to guide power users to actively stagger and avoid peaks, it can also promote the supply and demand balance of power and electricity, and improve the real-time regulation capability and safety level of the power grid.

"The national power supply and demand are generally balanced, while the power supply and demand in some provinces in East China, Central China and Southern regions are tight during peak electricity consumption, and the power supply and demand in North China, Northeast China and Northwest regions are basically balanced." Optimize the power supply and backup, peak staggered support, and surplus and shortage adjustment between cross-regional power grids, and make every effort to ensure the balance between power supply and demand during peak periods. The second is to give full play to the role of cross-provincial and cross-regional channels. Increase coordination with local governments and increase cross-provincial and cross-regional electricity transactions. The third is to do a solid job in demand-side management and orderly electricity use.
